LANDON IS THE HEAD COACH OF KMC WALKING & HIKING—and if you’re looking for someone who brings energy, grit, and a whole lot of heart to the trail, he’s your guy. Born and raised in Knoxville, TN, Landon has always felt most at home outside—camping, hiking, running, or tossing a ball around on the field. And when he’s not moving, you can find him cheering at a Smokies baseball game, grabbing pizza at Barley’s, or catching a movie with friends.

He’s completed 100+ obstacle course races—including three full 26.2-mile events, a 33-miler, and even a 60-mile ultra—and spent years volunteering with Operation Enduring Warrior, a nonprofit supporting military, law enforcement, and public safety personnel. His dream? To train service dogs that change lives (He’s already halfway there with Maya, his Spartan-race-crushing Siberian husky)!

Landon takes his coffee hot and black, his music loud (think rock, hard rock, or whatever’s hitting that day), and his hikes with good company. He’s a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, the Tennessee Vols, and TV shows like Outlander, Mindhunter, and basically anything Marvel.

For Landon, movement isn’t about speed—it’s about showing up, pushing yourself, and having fun along the way. Whether it’s your first greenway walk or a full-day trek in the Smokies, he’ll be right there with you, reminding you that outside’s always better with friends.
