WHAT IS KMC ACTIVE?
KMC Active is Knoxville Movement Collective’s home for outdoor fitness and movement.
We bring people together for workouts, yoga, climbing, and community events that make movement social, fun, and accessible. Every session is a chance to challenge yourself, meet new people, and move with purpose.
Each workout brings new energy, new confidence, and a reminder that movement is better shared.

FITNESS ACTIVITIES
KMC Active brings energy and variety to movement through pop-up workouts, partner events, and local collaborations. From yoga and pilates to HIIT and outdoor circuits, our goal is to make fitness social, approachable, and fun.

REC SPORTS
From pickup games to casual leagues, our rec sports are all about teamwork, laughs, and getting moving. Whether you’re dusting off old skills or trying something new, there’s always a spot for you on the court or field.

MOBILITY CLINICS
We host accessible clinics that help improve mobility, flexibility, and functional strength. Led by experienced partners and coaches, each session helps you move better, recover smarter, and feel stronger in every activity.

Our climbing sessions focus on movement, challenge, and community. Whether you’re tackling your first wall or working on harder routes, you’ll find support, encouragement, and maybe even your new belay partner.

Not at all! Every event is beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise. Whether you’re new to fitness or already active, our coaches and partners create welcoming environments for all experience levels.

Some events may recommend certain gear, like yoga mats, athletic shoes, or climbing gear for gym sessions. Any special requirements will be listed in the event description.

Each event includes a brief description with difficulty level and details on what to expect. You can always reach out to the event leader or contact us if you’re unsure!

Bring water, comfortable workout clothes, and any specific gear mentioned in the event details. Most importantly, bring good energy and be ready to move with your community.

Absolutely! Most KMC Active events are open to everyone. We love seeing new faces in the community — just make sure they complete our online waiver before joining in.
