MEET GREG

Greg’s an avid biker who has lived in Knoxville for over a decade — born in New Hampshire, raised near Nashville — and believes cycling is a form of freedom that everyone should experience. His favorite way to cycle is mountain biking, but he also loves road riding, gravel biking and urban cycling. Nothing makes Greg happier than getting friends together for a group ride around town or on a trail around Knoxville.

He’s not a competitive biker, but he does love a fun or challenging race or activity. Some of his favorite “holidays” are AMBC’s Fall Fest, Tour de Fat, Freedom Thighs, and Tour de Lights. For races, he’s completed a century road bike race, participated in the Hill of Truth, and racks up points at the Grenade Race each week.

When Greg’s not biking, you'll find him at Corner Lounge or Central Flats and Taps cheering on his favorite soccer team, Chelsea FC, catching a movie at Central Cinema or playing disc golf. He’s a nurse for a local syringe exchange by day and an amateur chef for fun, loving to cook a meal for friends or family. He’s happy with all things big and small, whether it’s traveling the world with his wife Abby or simply lounging in their backyard hammocks with their dog Barley — though their angry cat Ollie is always howling jealously nearby.
