MEET ERIC
ERIC IS the life of the party both on and off the track. Originally from Alcoa, TN, he’s never been one to sit still for long. You’ll usually find him outside—running, paddleboarding, or bike bar hopping around downtown Knoxville with his girlfriend MaKenzee (and a rotating crew of friends). He travels often, but always comes back to the community he’s helped build here—and to his two beloved dogs, Beauregard (a “chihuahua” mix) and Dottie (the dalmatian mix).
Eric’s no stranger to the start line—he’s completed 3 marathons, 5 triathlons, 4 half marathons, a handful of obstacle races, and countless other events over the years. His favorite? The Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston—but he’s just as fired up pacing a local 5K or cheering someone on at their first race.
He’s a longtime Manchester United fan and a regular at local favorites like Public House, Baker Boys, and Cherokee Blvd.
Eric’s approach to coaching is simple: show up, have fun, and bring good energy. He’s proud to be part of KMC and excited to keep building a community where movement is accessible, social, and something you actually look forward to.
