Our PURPOSE

Knoxville Movement Collective is about more than staying active. We’re here to build real connection through movement and community.

Whether you’re running, walking, biking, hiking, or paddling, we create inclusive spaces where everyone feels welcome. No pace is too slow. No experience needed.

Knoxville is home, and giving back matters to us. That’s why we’ve partnered with Keep Knoxville Beautiful as our official charity partner. 25% of our profits go directly to their mission, and we team up for volunteer events throughout the year to help keep our city vibrant.

Because when we show up for each other, it’s not just about moving — it’s about making a difference.

MEET THE FOUNDER

hi, i’m ashley!

I’m originally from just north of Atlanta, but I came to Knoxville in 2019 for school at UT — and never left. This city quickly became home in the best way.

Being outside has always been where I feel most like myself: clear, calm, and connected. I started running in 2023, not to go fast or far, but simply to move in a way that felt good. I’d been thinking about starting a more relaxed run club for a while — but the more I thought about it, the more I realized it didn’t need to stop at running. There are so many ways to enjoy Knoxville’s outdoors together.

Knoxville has shaped who I am, and I want this collective to be one small way of giving back to the place that feels like home. I’m working on partnering with a local charity and planning volunteer events throughout the year. To me, building community means showing up — on the trail and beyond it.

This is still in its early stages, but I’m committed to making it the most fun, welcoming, and meaningful experience I can.

I’m really glad you’re here.
